Hold It Down can be seen as the rebirth of Das EFX. The American hip-hop duo worked together with acclaimed producers as DJ Premier and Pete Rock. The beats aren't the only superior factor of this album, the lyrics are just as good. It's one of those underground classics which didn't come the whole way to reach the surface. But nowadays it can be seen as one of the finer hip-hop albums from the early nineties. It is an uncompromisingly and raw album, where Das EFX changed their style to one with harder edges. Hold It Down is available as a limited edition of 1.000 individually numbered copies on green and blue marbled colored vinyl.

Number 10 is Cale's 10th album and contains another wonderful and laid back/mellow collection of typical J.J. Cale tunes. "Traces", "Artificial Paradise", "Low Rides" and "Jailes" are considered part of his best 1990s songs.

Le Tres Jazz Club present a first time vinyl reissue of Hiromasa Suzuki's Primrose, originally released in 1978. Hiromasa Suzuki is a Japanese pianist who began his recording career in the early 70's. Nicknamed "Colgen" in Japan, he is well-known for two amazing records combining jazz-fusion and traditional Japanese instruments (Rock-Joint Biwa and Rock-Joint Cipher on the RCA label), jazz-funk oriented albums (High-Flying and Skip Step Cogen), and the famous record from the Electro Keyboard Orchestra, his band along with other famous Japanese pianists Yuji Ohno and Hideo Ichikawa. But Hiromasa Suzuki was also interested in more classical jazz. In 1978 he released Primrose on the Union label. It's a beautiful record of modal jazz, with Nobuyoshi Ino on bass and Steve Jackson on drums. An absolutely hard-to-find record, even in Japan, the album features incredible compositions like "Hornet", "Discharge", and "Early Summer".

I continue to look back into the story & history of the UK jazz dance and jazz music scene; a movement that started for me back in the 70's. Here we are in 2020 when interest in all forms of Jazz is growing fast as DJ pioneers such as Gilles Peterson, Patrick Forge, Perry Louis, Snowboy, Nick Hosier, Alan Mckinnon, Jim Bernardi, Kev Beadle, Harv Nagi, Shuya Okino and David Patterson continue to push all aspects of Jazz to converted and new audiences. So, to this compilation where I am showcasing unreleased material and offering tracks up for the first time ever on vinyl and CD. The track listing covers my addiction to dance-floor jazz, coupled with my passion for vocal and percussive jazz, with my usual trademark latin touches. Classicks is a compilation album by Alice Cooper, combining studio material from his Glam period with live recordings of his classics. One of the highlights is the great duet with Soundgarden's Chris Cornell "Stolen Prayer". Other songs from the late-'80s and early-'90s studio recordings are "Poison," "Hey Stoopid," and "House of Fire".

One More from the Road is a live album by Southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd, capturing three shows recorded in July 1976 at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia. Since 1974, Lynyrd Skynyrd had supported rock promoter Alex Cooley so that the Fox Theatre was saved from demolition. This record was the band's first live album, and the only live album from the band's classic era of 1970 to 1977, prior to the plane crash that killed lead singer and songwriter Ronnie Van Zant, guitarist Steve Gaines, and backing singer Cassie Gaines.

Never released on vinyl before and now released for RSD 2020. 6mm sleeve with embossed Paradise Lost logo and includes insert. The gothic metal band Paradise Lost are considered to be the pioneers of the death-doom genre, and as a big influencer for the gothic metal. They’re active for over thirty years.

Lee 'Scratch' Perry's return to his most spaced-out work, that marks his 2002 comeback album Jamaican E.T. The extra-terrestrial is back with some groovy reggae which creates a bridge between dub, roots and hip hop. But in the end, it never ventures too far away from the traditional reggae. Lee 'Scratch' Perry was a pioneer in the 1970s development of dub music and worked together with artists such as Bob Marley and the Wailers, The Clash and The Beastie Boys. Nowadays he's still performing and recording music. Jamaican E.T. is available as a limited edition of 750 individually numbered copies on orange coloured vinyl.
