The follow-up to their groundbreaking debut, Done By the Forces of Nature is the point where the Jungle Brothers' production catches up to their musical ambition. There's still a ruddy, lo-fi edge to the record, but the samples are more abundant and intricately woven, and there's an altogether fuller sound that gives the group a greater presence.

Couleurs sur Paris is the fourth album by the French covers band Nouvelle Vague, released 16 November 2010. The album is the group's first to be sung mostly in French, consisting largely of covers of French new wave and post-punk songs from the 1970s and 1980s.

The French new wave/bossanova band returns with a new release of covers that included four original tracks.

After being blown away by a few tunes – probably just as you will be after listening to this - Samy Ben Redjeb travelled to the infamous capital city of Somalia in November of 2016, making Analog Africa the first music label to set foot in Mogadishu. On his arrival in Somalia Samy began rifling through piles of cassettes and listening to reel-to-reel tapes in the dusty archives of Radio Mogadishu, looking for music that "swam against the current".

After the success of their single "Smile," which was the theme song for the Warner Bros. movie High Society and placed in several commercials, LA/Berlin neo-funk duo Apollo Theo offer up their debut album, Night Cruise. Chock full of '80s boogie and funk tunes, it includes features from Cali rappers King Tee, MC Eiht, Fresh Daily, Chuuwee and vocalists Benny Sings and JATA & NEEON, and is executive produced by Shuko (The Clipse, Lee Fields, Snoop Dogg, B-Real). Twelve tracks built on good ole memories from the '80s funk era with a little modern twist of hip-hop which makes Night Cruise the perfect soundtrack for some city rides at midnight.

As part of their 20th Anniversary celebrations, Strut present the first new volume in their pioneering ‘Nigeria 70’ series for over 8 years, bringing together rare highlife, Afro-funk and juju from the ‘70s and early ‘80s. Compiled by collector and DJ Duncan Brooker, this new selection of tracks is receiving its first international release outside of Nigeria.

Mac Miller's first mixtape Best Day Ever will be released on its fifth anniversary as a commercial album via Rostrum Records. The remastered version of the 16-track offering will be available for the first time on all commercial download and streaming services, as well as vinyl and CD form.
