Pearl Jam (sometimes referred to as The Avocado Album or simply Avocado) is the eighth studio album by American alternative rock band Pearl Jam, released on May 2, 2006 on J Records.

Sigh No More is the debut studio album by London-based rock quartet Mumford & Sons. It was released on 2 October 2009 in the UK, and on 16 February 2010 in the United States and Canada. The album entered the UK Albums Chart at No. 11 and peaked at No. 2 on 20 February 2011, in its 72nd week on the chart and following its Album of the Year win at the Brit Awards. In early 2011, the album peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 in the US.

Undiscovered is the debut album by English singer-songwriter James Morrison, released in the United Kingdom on 10 July 2006. In its first week, the album sold 84,611 units in the UK. It has been certified Gold in New Zealand and Platinum in Australia, Ireland and the United Kingdom.

The Moon & Antarctica is the third studio album by American rock band Modest Mouse, released on June 13, 2000 by Epic Records. The album's title is taken from the opening scene of the 1982 film Blade Runner, where the main character (Rick Deckard) reads a newspaper headlined "Farming the Oceans, the Moon and Antarctica."

Korn is the self-titled debut studio album by American nu metal band Korn. It was released on October 11, 1994, through Immortal/Epic Records. Before recording the album, the band was approached by Immortal/Epic Records after a performance at Huntington Beach, California. The band signed to their label because they didn't want to "sign away all of their creative freedom." 

Aha Shake Heartbreak is the second studio album by American rock band Kings of Leon. It was released in November 2004, in the UK and February 2005, in the United States. It is the only album by Kings of Leon to have a Parental Advisory label because of the strong language in "Taper Jean Girl", "Rememo", "Soft", and "Four Kicks". The album was also included in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.

Education, Education, Education & War is the fifth studio album by English rock band Kaiser Chiefs. The album's name is partly a reference to a line in a famous 1996 speech by Tony Blair where he emphasized the importance of education.

Closer is the second and final studio album by English rock band Joy Division, released on 18 July 1980 by Factory Records. Produced by Martin Hannett, it was released two months after the suicide of the band's lead singer and lyricist Ian Curtis. The album reached No. 6 on the UK Albums Chart, peaked at No. 3 in New Zealand in September 1981, and No. 2 in Greece during August 2020.
