Released in January 1965 by Impulse! Records, A Love Supreme became one of the most acclaimed jazz records, and contemporary critics hailed it as one of the important albums of post-war jazz.

On Trust In The Life Force Of The Deep Mystery, the Mercury Music Prize-shortlisted futurist jazz voyagers The Comet Is Coming are making music for these crisis times of chaos and mass meltdown. The music on the trio’s second record, out on impulse!, fluctuates between pulsating, danceable, electronic groove-centric pieces and quieter, melodic jazz-infused compositions.

The Comet is Coming follow up their critically acclaimed Trust in The Lifeforce of the Deep Mystery with The Afterlife EP, their second title to be released under the Impulse Records! label.
