One of the most iconic and essential works by Piero Umiliani has finally emerged from the archives. The reason is maybe the magnificent quality of the composition and the arrangements, written by the Maestro himself, who reaches here one of his top-level creative peaks ever.

A volume entirely dedicated to the jazz atmospheres of the Italian movies from the ‘60s, including genres such as noir, melò, giallo, dark comedy and crazy ‘musicarelli’.

“Orgasmo” score is an actual gem of grace and elegance - a manifesto of seduction that constitutes one of the main assets for Lenzi’s film. With this work, Umiliani managed to perfectly capture the film’s morbid side, psych(edel)ic deliriums, and pop ambiance. Some of the music’s attributes, such as Alessandro Alessandroni’s and his wife Giulia’s vocal work, or the major role played by Antonello Vannucchi’s Hammond organ, foreshadow the atmospheres of “Five Dolls for an August Moon.”

For the first time ever on vinyl. Maleficent sounds, gothic atmospheres, and alarming voices, all make this soundtrack captivating yet disturbing at the same time.
