Limited re-release of the 2017 album "The Burning Spide". Ignited by a creative fire, Parov Stelar unveils new and unexpected sides of his music on "The Burning Spider", opening a new chapter of his sample-based sound research throughout music history.

Much that fans around the world have come to appreciate and love about Parov Stelar's unique sound is preserved, only the influences and references are once again thrown up in a new light. While on his last albums it was mainly swing references that made Stelar a superstar of a genre on a global scale, he now strikes new tones with blues and jazz elements and borrowings throughout the decades. In doing so, he also keeps reflecting on his own musical history, and long-time fans will rediscover stylistic devices that have receded into the background in recent years.

Only while Parov Stelar wildly hacked and alienated previously sampled vocals, he now confidently puts the names of the sound donors next to his own: Muddy Waters and Lightnin' Hopkins are on the album as well as singer Anduze from the American Virgin Islands, with whom Stelar has worked before and who holds a key position on "The Burning Spider". And, as a bonus, there are three "classic" Parov Stelar tracks with a good portion of swing.
