On Rastilho Kiko Dinucci absorbs the lineage of Brazilian guitarists such as Dorival Caymmi, Joao Gilberto, Baden Powell, Jorge Ben and Gilberto Gil - yet filtered through his uniquely 'punk' musical vision. His style is raw - technically, he seems to attack the guitar strings, lyrically he explores Afro-Brazilian culture, slavery, Brazilian revolutionaries, candomblé and evangelical Christianity.

Dinucci is one the most innovative artists in contemporary Brazilian music - as well as a member of Metá Metá, who combine elements of Brazilian music, candomblé, punk rock and free jazz, he has worked with Tom Zé, Criolo and Elza Soares.
